Fantasy Match Making: Titan FC new signings. Dhiego Lima & Carina Damm

    

          Earlier today Titan FC announced the signing of Dhiego Lima and Carina Damm.  Lima who was a runner up on season 19 of the Ultimate Fighter. Damm who's fought in Strikeforce, Shark Fights and other notable promotions.  Both signings have fans buzzing and both Damm and Lima are expected to fight at Titan FC 39 on June 10th.  We here at KneeBar MMA decided to do a little fantasy match making for these two fighters. 





                                    Dhiego Lima (11-4) VS Felipe Portela (10-2)


                 Lima who bounced back from a rocky UFC stint to defeat Antonio Trocoli at Legacy 53 in April.  The win got Lima back on track and ready for another run in the welterweight division. Portela was a member of the Blackzillians on season 21 of the Ultimate fighter is riding a two fight win streak.  Portela a Strikeforce vet is 0-1 in Titan with a loss coming back at Titan FC 31 to Hayder Hassan. Portela has an impressive victory over current UFC fighter Vicente Luque.  The winner of this bout is sure to climb the ladder of the Titan FC Welterweight division , and possibly earn a shot at Belal Muhammad who won the title at Titan FC 38. 

                                   Carina Damm (23-12) VS Heather Bassett (4-2)

 

                Damm who was the first women signed to Titan FC is coming off a bit of a rough stretch. Losing her last two bouts after a five fight win streak with most of those fights coming in her native Brzil..  Bassett who is riding a 2 fight win streak under the King Of the Cage banner has finished all four of her wins and undefeated at 125 pounds. Not much is known about Titan's plans for their women divisions but this would be a great match up to kick things off!
